A practical guide to your profile, appointments and client service in Pakistan. Platform procedures below do not replace professional rules, court requirements or individual legal advice.

Complete business registration and the required payment review. Supply accurate credentials. Seller account approval does not certify your professional licence or court entitlement.
Listings → Create listing → Service → Lawyers & Legal Services. Add your public enrolment reference, practice area, city, languages, session length, fee basis, availability and included work. Read the guide before publishing.
Requests appear in Seller Center → Orders. Review availability and the general enquiry, run your intake checks and confirm the appointment. A request is not automatic acceptance of a case.
Confirm client identity, conflict checks, the precise deliverable, costs and communication method. Put scope and acceptance in writing; complete any authority or court documentation required for that matter.
Use the available booking controls, keep the client informed and record completion. Keep your own engagement, receipt and handover records. The marketplace does not file cases or monitor legal deadlines for you.
Keep enrolment, identity and practice information current. Do not impersonate a lawyer or use a colleague’s credentials. Notify support if your practice status changes; stop offering work you are no longer entitled to undertake. Subscription and identity review are not a “Bar Council verified” badge.
Keep your listing restrained and factual. Our listing policy excludes guaranteed bail, guaranteed divorce, guaranteed tax savings, claims of influence, fabricated testimonials and misleading “best lawyer” claims. Do not publish a client’s name, case documents or settlement to promote yourself.
Treat the platform membership and the client engagement as separate arrangements. Before any paid introduction, percentage deduction or promotional campaign, have the exact model reviewed by Pakistani counsel and the competent professional body where necessary. A fixed subscription is not automatically lawful just because it is not a percentage. This guide neither approves nor changes your configured billing rate.
Before accepting, identify the client and relevant parties, check your own prior work and decide whether you can act. Collect only the initial information needed for that check. Explain whether you offer a consultation, drafting, advice or representation; do not treat a short booking as authority to take over litigation.
Use booking notes for a general enquiry only. Do not place CNICs, children’s details, medical records, evidence or legal strategy in public listings. Agree an appropriate confidential exchange with the lawyer after intake. Limit staff access, verify recipients and keep backups and retention records appropriate to the engagement.
Before work, give a written fee basis and identify what is included, additional appearances, third-party charges and any applicable tax. Record acceptance, receipts, work done and money returned. Keep money held for a client distinguishable in your records. Do not describe the marketplace as an escrow or trust-account service.
Publish realistic availability and consultation length. Confirm the meeting method, location and time with the client. If delayed or unavailable, notify and arrange the next step. A booking request does not file a case, extend limitation or guarantee attendance at court; urgent matters require direct professional attention.
Disclose rescheduling, cancellation and any no-show terms before acceptance. Distinguish platform membership payments from professional fees and expenses. Resolve an unprovided or partly completed service using the agreed scope and applicable rights; do not promise automatic refunds. For withdrawal or transfer, arrange proper notice and file handover through the required professional/court process.
Our platform does not permit bribery, intimidation, fabricated evidence, fraudulent documents or claims of access to officials. Keep professional judgment with the authorised lawyer. Staff may assist within their assigned access; a staff account or AI tool is not a licence to provide legal representation.
For a platform problem, contact support with listing/booking references and a factual summary; minimise sensitive attachments. Alleged professional misconduct belongs with the competent Bar Council under its current process. Platform review is not a court or disciplinary decision. Listings may be reviewed under marketplace policy; this does not determine the legal merits of a client’s case.
Before accepting a consultation
Ask for the dispute type, parties, location, key dates and requested service. Obtain contracts or notices privately after intake; separately scope negotiation, drafting and litigation.
Identify urgency, custody status, location and any known court date. Keep allegations and evidence out of public descriptions. Do not promise bail or an acquittal.
Clarify the requested consultation and relevant location/dates. Use extra care with children’s details, family records and addresses. Agree the specific task before collecting a complete family file.
Ask which public decision/action is involved, its date and the relief sought. The lawyer must assess the appropriate forum, entitlement and urgency; the platform does not assess petition maintainability.
Clarify employment location, the requested service and relevant dates. Obtain terms and notices privately. The lawyer checks the applicable provincial and employment regime before advising.
Identify the authority, tax period, notice date and task requested. Never request passwords or OTPs in a public listing or booking note. Agree safe authorisation for any account-based work.
The 1973 Act addresses enrolment, rights to practise and disciplinary complaints. Confirm the competent Bar Council and your current entitlement for the proposed work.
Professional communications are addressed by Qanun-e-Shahadat Articles 9–12, with statutory limits and exceptions. Do not assume every platform message is privileged.
Read the original sources and check later amendments, the relevant provincial/Islamabad Bar Council and court rules. These are operational instructions, not certification that this marketplace model is lawful.
